Explair is an extensive app to Airbnb that immerses users in visual stories of real-life traveller experiences as a fun way to connect and inform users about different experiences that await them around the world. It provides a platform for users to easily discover and collaborate on trips to create unforgettable memories. Since this app was created for the Adobe x Airbnb Creative Jam, it was made in 48 hours with love!
Airbnb has a huge community of like-minded people that love to travel and share their trip memories. However, Airbnb as of now is used for advertising listings and booking stays and/or unique experiences for already planned-out trips. Currently, there lacks inspiration to encourage new trips and users cannot share their amazing travel experiences within the Airbnb community. By solving these pain points would ultimately inspirit users to want to come back to Airbnb and boost customer metrics.
Our goal with Explair is to create an app that is connected to and works in collaboration with Airbnb that will allow users to document travel experiences in real-time, save posts for inspiration on future trips, and collaborate with friends and family to cherish memories. Explair is meant to open up the minds of travellers to where they can go rather than only using Airbnb to book a stay somewhere they’ve already planned to go.

Dynamic Dashboard
Discover new posts and recently viewed posts catered to your Airbnb account.
Access saved lists by simply swiping the bottom tab up.
Filter the posts via recommended tags located below the search bar.

Smart Search
Search posts using locations and keywords. Current popular and past searches will recommend filters found under the search bar.

Save Posts
Saving posts is encouraged to track inspiration for future trips. They are organized into custom lists according to the user's preference.

Document Trips
Document posts in a trip timeline under your profile.
Work solo or collaborate with friends and family to add to the same trip.
Simply send a link or trip code to invite people to your trip.

Airbnb Listings
As a host, your listings from Airbnb are synched under your profile to allow others who have stayed at these listings to post photos and captions about them.
Browse these listings to see more in-depth and personal reviews.

Easy Upload Process
Document experiences with photos/videos in real time using the built-in camera function.
Photograph algorithm easily creates an accurate timeline of posts in their respective locations.
